Nice product, powerful & very easy to use and the company is wonderful about customer service. The manual is pretty worthless tho. A couple of things you need to know are; once it's warmed up, you will need to press and hold the button until the water is able to work it's way up thru the wand. Also, it drips heavily on the higher steam setting which is very unfortunate. Might be because I'm in a humid area and dryer climes won't have or cause that problem. It drips even on the lower settings but MUCH less so is tolerable for furniture, mattresses, bathrooms etc. No stains. Not so sure how it would do on clothing. Overall, I'm happy with it's performance and the attachments, seems to be the best, most powerful steamer for it's size out there at a decent price ~ just wish they could correct that drip but may simply be one of those laws of physics we have to live with :-)

Wonderful little machine

I've had my steamfast sidekick for about a week now and am extremely happy with it. I have turned into a cleaning nut because it does such a wonderful job. This tackles all those jobs that used to take forever (showers, fridge, stove) and knocks them out quickly. I read the feedback from other users before I purchased this and only one gave me pause. The one about ordering extra brushes etc. I had no problem at all. Contacted the website and had a reply in less than 24 hours. The replacement brushes etc are now A275 numbers rather than what the book says. I ordered a pack of brushes on Monday and had them on Wednesday! Can't get much better than that. I highly recommend this steam cleaner. I am seriously considering ordering the floor model now.

I purchased this item with some hesitancies given the other reviews. I work in the human services field and am exposed to so many different elements, including the possibility of taking unwanted visitors home with me. YUP bedbugs & roaches..YUCK! I am all about prevention and since the recent agency exposure scared the you know what out of me. I wanted to be proactive, thus me purchasing this item.PROS:It is very easy to use. It is lightweight and appeared to last longer than 30 minutes. I appreciate the different attachments as well as the multiple steam settings. I am actually excited to clean my kitchen walls and a tile table I have. I know who gets excited about cleaning grout. The directions are very simple. However they did tend to make me think I was missing something because of their simplicity. I steamed my couches and while there was some drippage, the couch and pillows dried fairly quickly.I own a floor steamer, and am unable to get as close to the wall as I would like. I was able to steam along the baseboards and such without any problems. I also cleaned my windows with squeegee attachment and wish I could do the outside of them. They were pretty clear and no streaks! I also know it got pretty hot because when I got lazy and was steaming the pillows on my lap. A drip hit me and made me want to say some four letter words I do not use.Also the shipper sent this out to me sooner than I expected. It was wrapped pretty tightly.ConsI went to target today and saw a similar steamer for 29.99! I know right!Like some of the other reviews I did notice that it tends to drip when using the fabric attachement, however did so less on the higher setting. I am hesitant to use on clothes because of the dripping. It does not have fabric cover like I see with other steamers specifically for clothes. This might be the issue. The fabric cover would absorb excess water.I wish the cup was the full 32oz the tank holds, so it can be filled in one shot. I just used my measuring cup, so this complaint is minimal.Overall I don't regret the purchase, other then the cheaper one at target.When I use the other attachements, I might update. I hope this helped.
