Just love the end result

we have only done one level but OMG. We own dogs so the house carpet gets put to use for sure. The wife and I just cannot wait to do the rest of the house, the end result on the one level is just amazing, we just cannot wait to do the rest of the house, if it was not for furniture and the like we would be done allready. So one room at a time till we get the whole house done. Thanks for such a great tool for the house every house should own one.

It works great...when the plastic isn't breaking.

I bought this over a year ago and have had a terrible time with the plastic. It keeps breaking everywhere! Luckily the machine still works at this point and it has been well worth the money for me (older dog who made messes), but having to carry it instead of rolling it since the plastic piece that keeps it upright broke is getting super old. I have already had the tank replaced once, like the other reviews said, it was leaking. It worked for a couple months of regular use and has now broke again. It seems everything that is breaking has to do with the poor quality of the plastic.My point in less words: Cleans great but very fragile construction.

Not worth it

I chose this machine because it was supposed to be able to clean carpets as well as hard floors. The hard floor option is worthless. It makes a bunch of noise, gets the tile wet, and that's about it. I had hoped it would help keep the grout clean, but it was pointless. I suggest getting a steam mop instead. It did clean my carpets great the first few times I used it. It was quick work and dried pretty fast. I have also used it a few times to clean up some pretty nasty pet messes and it worked great for those. I wish I could still use it to keep my carpets clean, but now that the solution tank is leaking, it's basically worthless. After filling the tank, the solution will poor out of the bottom, and even if I make it to the machine, the solution leaks from the hose all over the floor. Hoover agreed to send out a new tank, but said it was a "...one time courtesy." and it won't be shipped for about three weeks because it is back-ordered. I'm not sure how sending me a replacement for a defective product that is under warranty is a courtesy, and I'm disappointed that the company didn't issue a recall. So my advice is, buy a different product, from a different company.
